Base pay range $40.00/hr - $90.00/hr Position Overview Lively X’s mission is to create a women-exclusive space where confidence, strength, and community come first. Our programs are designed by women for women to help women build confidence, consistency, and real results in a supportive and uplifting environment. We’re located in downtown Palo Alto. We offer group exercise classes in Pilates, HIIT, and strength training. We are looking for an instructor who can teach strength/conditioning, mat Pilates (not yoga), and cardio classes. Responsibilities Program and teach safe and engaging group fitness classes Demonstrate proper technique and modifications for different levels Set up the class 15 minutes prior to start, including preparing the playlist Implement proper warm-up and cool-down routines for all classes Schedule substitutes and replacements in advance as needed Adhere to studio policies and procedures Assist in promotions, external events, and marketing photo shoots Obtain liability insurance and show proof before any personal training sessions, if applicable Qualifications Certified Group Fitness Instructor (ACE, NASM, AFAA, or equivalent) 1-5 years of experience leading group workouts in Pilates, HIIT, dance, or strength training If applicable, Personal Trainer Certification through a nationally accredited organization (NASM, ACE, ACSM, ISSA, NSCA, or equivalent) Strong communication, motivational, and organizational skills A desire for continual improvement Outgoing, friendly personality and a desire to meet new people Free access to open gym, group fitness classes, and workshops Bonus opportunities Discounts on membership perks Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Contract Job Function Other Industries Wellness and Fitness Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
