Description - What You Will Do - Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory evaluations-spanning fields like chemistry, hematology, and immunology-adhering to established laboratory protocols.
- Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform necessary preventative maintenance along with calibration of laboratory instruments.
- Assist with sample collection processes and prepare specimens for testing as required.
- Thoroughly document all lab processes, mentor new team members, and ensure high-quality lab standards are maintained.
- Uphold a clean and safe working environment while complying with all regulatory and accrediting standards.
Education - Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.
Certifications - Obtain ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hiring.
